Briana Zdradzinski Named KU Employee of the Month for March 2025

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Congratulations to Briana Zdradzinski, coordinator for Student Success and Transfer Engagement, on being named Kutztown University Employee of the Month for March 2025.
Zdradzinski’s nomination from Bethany French and Alyssa Oakley, Student Success and Academic Excellence, reads:
French:
“Briana demonstrates professionalism and a generous helping of enthusiasm in her support of transfer students to KU's campus. Not only does she meet with incoming students through Admissions events, but she works closely with transfer students once they have arrived at KU to help navigate university processes, program check sheets, and how best to support them through their educational journey to graduation.
Briana's assistance has been making a vital contribution to student retention goals, and graduation rate goals. By providing personalized assistance to the transfer student community, transfer students are more likely to graduate on time and remain at KU to complete their degree. She is dedicated to not only improving those university goals, but to help transfer students to complete a degree that will help them with their long-term goals in their life.
Briana often collaborates with other offices across KU to make this happen. She works closely with Admissions and Orientation to help make the transition to Kutztown easier for transfer students, and she also works with faculty and departments to provide guidance with check sheets and general education waivers that many transfer students have earned. She is enthusiastic, bubbly, and welcoming, and as a former transfer student and a two-time KU graduate, and invaluable resource to the population she helps to serve.”
Oakley:
“Bri’s dedication to working with transfer students is truly unmatched. She pours her heart into every aspect of her role, often going above and beyond expectations. As a former transfer student herself, she deeply understands the challenges they face and uses her firsthand experience to advocate fiercely on their behalf. Whether guiding students through course transfers, connecting them with essential resources, or offering encouragement, Bri ensures that every transfer student feels supported and valued. Her passion for their success is evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impact on those she helps.
Bri embodies Kutztown University’s mission by ensuring transfer students have access to educational opportunities that empower them academically, socially and professionally. Through her advocacy, mentorship and dedication, she helps create a caring community where students can reach their full potential and thrive at KU.
No one could do the job better than Bri. She steps in whenever assistance is needed, taking on extra responsibilities without hesitation to ensure transfer students receive the best possible support. Her enthusiasm is contagious – she eagerly shares her knowledge and experiences to empower others, making her an irreplaceable resource. Whether problem-solving behind the scenes or celebrating student achievements, Bri’s unwavering commitment sets a standard that few could match, making her an invaluable advocate and mentor.
It is meaningful and inspiring to work with Bri. She has a way of making even the most challenging tasks engaging, creating an environment where both students and colleagues feel energized and motivated. Her ability to foster connections and uplift those around her makes her an invaluable part of any team. Bri isn’t just great at what she does – she makes everyone around her better, too.”
