Hainley Named KU Employee of the Month for November 2024
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Congratulations to Jessica Hainley, student assistance coordinator, on being named Kutztown University Employee of the Month for November 2024.
Hainley’s nomination from Nadia Daher, student assistance coordinator for special populations, reads:
"Jessica demonstrates professionalism and enthusiasm in every aspect of her role. When a long-serving employee transitioned to a new position, Jessica seamlessly stepped in, not only taking on additional responsibilities, but also making efficient changes that improved office operations. Her willingness to rise to the occasion, even though she naturally prefers not to be in the spotlight or delegate tasks, is a testament to her dedication. She brings a quiet confidence to her interactions with staff, students and the broader university community, ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued.
Jessica's contributions have been vital to maintaining the smooth functioning of the office during a period of significant transition. Her ability to adapt quickly and make thoughtful, impactful adjustments has directly supported the office's goals. Despite the challenges that come with stepping into a role previously held by someone for many years, Jessica has handled her new responsibilities with grace and effectiveness, ensuring continuity in service and improvements along the way.

Nominations are collected from students, faculty and staff, and the Employee of the Month is selected by the Human Resources Advisory Council. A winner will be selected each month, and out of the 12 monthly winners one will be selected as Employee of the Year. The Employee of the Month will receive a plaque, reserved parking and a $100 monetary gift sponsored by President Hawkinson.
