Council of Trustees Approves Honorary Doctorate at November 2023 Meeting
KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University Council of Trustees approved an honorary doctorate for Mark Weaver to highlight the Council’s November 2023 board meeting Thursday afternoon.
In other business, the KU Council of Trustees:
* Approved meeting minutes from Sept. 21, 2023.
* Approved 13 new internship agreements with UPMC, Pole to Pole Limited, GBCS Group, CSF Buxmont, WHP-WLYN News CBS21 – Unheard Gems, With a Terrible Fate, Malvern Community Health Services, Inspired Wellness, Central PA Kings Men’s Basketball Team, Carlisle Area School District, Overbrook School for the Blind, and Pyramid Healthcare, Inc.
* Approved new Bachelor of Science program in Data Science (will move forward to the Chancellor of the State System of Higher Education for final approval).
* Approved the 2023-24 E&G Budget Revision.
* Approved Summer 2024 Study Abroad program fees.
* Approved Mark Weaver for Honorary Doctorate Degree.
* Approved revised mission statement.
The KU Council of Trustees next public board meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14.
