Robin Hoffman Named KU Employee of the Month for March 2022

Hoffman presented award from Hawkinson.

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Congratulations to Robin Hoffman, medical records assistant, Health and Wellness Center, on being named Kutztown University Employee of the Month for March 2022.

Hoffman's nomination from Kathy Loomis, Donna Ruch, Christine Hartline and Janet Whitehill, Health and Wellness Center staff, reads:

"Robin is most always the first face that you see upon entering the Health and Wellness Center at Beck Hall. She delivers a positive and memorable first impression to everyone she greets. That first impression may seem simple enough, but it makes a world of difference and gets a relationship started on the right track – setting us up (as a team) for success."

"If I had to pick just one word to describe Robin: kindness. Robin has such a desire to do good. The content of her character and desire to do good is a valued asset not only to us personally, but to the KU campus and community as a whole. The impact that this has on our KU students is unmeasurable! When our KU students have a meeting or encounter with Robin, they learn by hearing her words; by observing her actions. In that way, Robin is teaching and encouraging an entire generation of students to strive to be nicer, kinder and more tolerant and respectful than the people before them."

"Her kindness and character serve as the 'face' of the Kutztown University Health and Wellness Center."

"There's good, and then there's Robin!"

Nominations are collected from students, faculty and staff, and the Employee of the Month is selected by the Human Resources Advisory Council. A winner will be selected each month, and out of the 12 monthly winners one will be selected as Employee of the Year. The Employee of the Month will receive a plaque, reserved parking and a $100 monetary gift sponsored by President Hawkinson.
