KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Dr. Carol Watson, professor of education at Kutztown University, has received the 2022 Pennsylvania Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (PASCD) Outstanding Research and Publication Award. This award is given to PASCD members who have researched and published work within the past two years.

The Outstanding Research and Publication Award is given to individuals who demonstrate a personal and outstanding commitment to the improvement of curriculum development, as well as those who exhibit a passion for instruction, supervision, professional growth and the education of future generations.

Watson received the award Monday, March 28, in the Aztec Room of the Hershey Lodge.

"I am honored to have been chosen for this award by the Pennsylvania Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development," Watson said. "I have been lucky to work with many KU undergraduate students, teaching them the research process. It is their energy and curiosity that drive me as a researcher. I hope the findings from our work will support educators as we all continue to serve students to the best of our ability and knowledge."
