Kutztown University Council of Trustees Meeting

The Kutztown University Council of Trustees will meet Thursday, June 5, McFarland Student Union Building. Committee meetings will begin at 1:30 p.m.:
- Academic and Student Affairs Committee, 323 MSU.
- Finance, Property, and Audit Committee, 322 MSU.
- Human Diversity Committee, 325 MSU.
- University Relations and Athletics and Advancement Committee, 324 MSU.
The Plenary Session will begin at 3 p.m., 250 MSU.

Berks Internship Summit - July 10

The KU Career Development Center, in partnership with other Berks County colleges and universities, is hosting a Berks Internship Summit 8 a.m. to noon, Thursday, July 10, at Alvernia University (PLEX), Reading, Pa. This free, half-day event is designed to help employers across the region create or strengthen internship programs that align with student development and organizational goals. The summit will feature a keynote presentation from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) on recruiting interns and new college graduates, breakout sessions tailored to both large employers and small businesses/nonprofits, a legal panel on internship compliance and employment law and facilitated small-group discussions led by local career development professionals. Please share this opportunity with employers, business contacts and community partners who may benefit from attending. Registration is required and space is limited.
