Broadway Star Mandy Gonzalez Takes the Stage at KU Presents Dec. 6

Come "Home for the Holidays" 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, Schaeffer Auditorium. Enjoy classic holiday tunes and contemporary seasonal hits. Known for her leading roles in “In the Heights,” “Wicked” and “Hamilton,” Gonzalez is currently guest starring every Tuesday as Norma Desmond in the Broadway revival of “Sunset Boulevard.” Gonzalez will be joined by the Kutztown University Choir and Berks Youth Chorus. KU faculty and staff can access discounted tickets by logging in for tickets with their MyKU login.

Join Us for Software Engineering Capstone Demo Day

The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology is proud to announce the fall Senior Seminar Software Engineering Capstone Products Demo Day Friday, Dec. 6. Join us live and in person in 218 MSU. Presentations and demos are 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; poster sessions and individual demos are 1-3 p.m. Students have worked for two semesters on their projects, including custom-built hardware devices, web and mobile apps and a PC game. Plan on attending all or part of the day. Thank you for your support of our students.

Neurodiversity Book Group: Spring 2025 Selection

Faculty and staff are invited to take part in the next read for the Neurodiversity Book Group, an initiative sponsored by Kutztown University’s Title III grant. Our Spring 2025 book is “We’re Not Broken: Changing the Autism Conversation,” by Eric Garcia. If you are interested in joining the book group, please register via this form. A copy of the book will be provided to you. Upon receipt of the book, all participants commit to attending the discussion sessions and contributing to the dialogue. Discussion sessions will be held during the free hour (11 a.m. Tuesdays/Thursdays) and/or during the lunch hour (noon). For inquiries regarding the group’s activities or expectations, please contact Karen Rauch via Garcia will be on campus Thursday, April 10, 2025, for an exciting culmination to our semester-long discussion of his work. He will host a book signing after his distinguished lecture. To register for his evening presentation, register online.
