Cavalier Meets Campus Community

Thank you to the KU campus community who welcomed our next president, Dr. Philip Cavalier, at Thursday's reception. We look forward to Cavalier joining campus Monday, July 7.

Celebrate the end of the semester with a vibrant lineup of summer-themed K-pop performances that will bring the summer vibe to campus. The KU K-pop Dance Club Shooting Stars (President: Rhi Dietrich; Advisor: Dr. SungEun Min) invites you to enjoy bright, upbeat songs and dynamic choreography, perfect for getting you in the party mood. Special guests include the Temple University K-pop Dance Club, Temple Cherry Bombs, as well as ArcRose and NXTUS, K-pop dance groups based in Philadelphia. The showcase will take place 4-6 p.m., Friday, May 9, Schaeffer Auditorium, followed by a Random Dance After Party 7-8 p.m. This event is open to everyone who wants to join the fun.

Senior Exhibition for Art Majors

The Miller Gallery is proud to present the Senior Exhibition for students graduating with a BFA in Art. The exhibition runs through finals week, May 10-15.  The public reception is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, May 11. The gallery is located in the Sharadin Arts Building. Geography Department Awards Ceremony and GTU Induction

The Department of Geography recently had its annual awards ceremony and Gamma Theta Upsilon induction.
The following students received departmental awards:
- Justham Family Memorial Award: graduating senior, Katherine Lovelidge.
- C. Josephine Moyer Geography Award: graduating senior, Sarah Snow.
- Robert and Rosalin Ensminger Award: junior, Owen Smith.
The following students were inducted into Gamma Theta Upsilon, the International Honor Society in Geography: Allison Borelli, Ivor Cahalan, Valerie Davidheiser, Peyton Howell and Logan Woodward.
