Rec Center Operational Hours Next Week

The Student Recreation Center will be closed Monday, Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 18 for student staff training. Regular fall semester hours will begin 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Health Center and Boxwood House Staff Retreat

The Health Center and Boxwood House will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 18 for a staff retreat. We will not have phone coverage during this time. All messages will be responded to Wednesday, Aug. 19. Faculty and Staff Open Recreation this Semester

The West Gym will be reserved for faculty and staff open recreation noon to 1 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays for pickleball, and Tuesdays and Thursdays for basketball. Any guests must be at least 16 years old, sponsored by a current member and purchase a guest pass for $5.

Women's Soccer Voted Second in PSAC East Preseason Poll

Kutztown University women's soccer has been knocking on the door of a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship the last few seasons. The league coaches have selected KU as one of the top threats to claim the crown in 2026 as the Golden Bears were voted second in the PSAC East Division's preseason poll. Kutztown enters the new campaign coming off a 13-6-1 overall season in 2025, when it ended as the PSAC runners-up for the second straight year. The Maroon and Gold have advanced to at least the final four of the conference tournament in each of the last three seasons and have qualified for the NCAA Tournament each of the last eight seasons.
