New Student Orientation This Week

Our first round of orientation sessions was a great success. We welcomed hundreds of students and families who left the day excited and ready to begin their journey at Kutztown. I wanted to give a huge thank you to all those who supported orientation during that week. We had a ton of volunteers from departments all across campus helping to welcome everyone who came in the door. I believe those students and families felt the sense of community as they stepped on campus, being welcomed by all of you. Your work is much appreciated.
Our second of the two big orientation weeks will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21, and run through Saturday, July 25. Students will have the opportunity to browse the student services fair, meet fellow students, try campus dining and hear about what they need to know before they start at KU. If you see any new students and families on campus, be sure to give them a warm welcome.
