KU Professor's Work on PBS' American Masters

Assistant Professor of Visual Storytelling Jacob Rivkin created the animations for the award-winning documentary short "Ten Times Better," now streaming on the PBS program "American Masters." Ten Times Better is the astonishing story of George Lee, a pioneering Asian dancer who originated a featured role in George Balanchine's "The Nutcracker" 70 years ago as a teenage immigrant from China. This documentary tells George Lee's uniquely American story of perseverance in the face of hardship, of talent overcoming long odds and a reminder of the remarkable lives behind the anonymous faces all around us.

Weather

Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger

Not that unlike last week, another low pressure sets up shop and somewhat stalls over the region setting us up for several cloudy, dreary, unsettled days. Cloudy skies with rain today. Breezy with a cool high of 67.
