Faculty and Staff Convocation and Celebration

Join us at the annual Faculty and Staff Convocation and Celebration today, Friday, Aug. 21. This special event will take place in Schaeffer Auditorium, with doors opening at 7:45 a.m. Enjoy a continental breakfast at 8 a.m. before the program begins at 9 a.m. Offices will close at 8 a.m. through the conclusion of the event to allow the campus community to attend.

Student Convocation

Please attend this year's Student Convocation, 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, O'Pake Fieldhouse, to welcome our new students to KU. Faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to attend this year's student convocation. Please arrive by 12:45 p.m. so employees are in place to cheer on and welcome our students as they enter the fieldhouse at approximately 1 p.m. Free t-shirts will be available to the first 100 employees. Bring water to stay cool. With Keystone Hall currently under renovation, please enter O'Pake Fieldhouse from the sidewalk across from Dixon Hall and along the rear of the building, adjacent to Keystone Field. Thank you for your support.

Advisor Needed - KU Dance Team

The KU Dance Team is in need of a faculty or staff member to serve as a primary advisor for the club. Responsibilities of the advisor include attending club meetings, assisting the club in the organization and planning of projects and events, providing first approval for club financial transactions and ensuring compliance with university and Recreational Services policies, procedures and processes.
