A nice break today as we temporarily get under a southwest flow. Fair skies and breezy. Highs around 41. That'll feel like summer! Don't get used to it, though. Back to the freezer this weekend.

Szeplaki Named PSAC Field Athlete of the Week
Freshman pole vaulter Andrew Szeplaki was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week after setting new Kutztown University and PSAC records at last weekend's Alvernia Winter Invitational. In just his second collegiate meet, Szeplaki cleared 5.30 meters (17-4.5) to win the event at Saturday's meet. The Bath, Pa., native turned in the top mark in NCAA Division II this season. He moved from 10th to first on Kutztown's all-time top 10 list, surpassing the previous school record of 5.14m (16-10.25) set by All-American Joe Jardine at the NCAA Division II Championships in 2024. He also established a new PSAC record by topping the former mark of 5.24m (17-2.25) held by Slippery Rock's Drew Layton since the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships.
