South Campus UGI Gas Line Repairs

Our natural gas vendor, UGI, needs to make upgrades to certain lines on campus. There are currently 14 sites on campus. Over the next two weeks, UGI will be focusing on the South Campus repairs. Depending on the location, the work may impact traffic and pedestrian routes. They will have staff directing traffic when roadways are impacted. We do not anticipate the need to completely close any roadways. Additionally, sites will be well marked so pedestrians are aware to avoid the area or use an alternate route. We do not believe these repairs will have a significant impact on campus travel, but if you do go near a work area, be patient as there may be a short delay. Thanks for your patience with this matter.

Meet Ava, our Virtual Engagement Officer

The KU Foundation is pioneering a new era of donor engagement with the launch of Ava, its first-ever Virtual Engagement Officer (VEO). Ava, an AI-driven innovation developed in partnership with Givzey, is designed to enhance the donor experience by providing a personalized and interactive connection to KU. As the first university-related Foundation in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to implement a VEO, Kutztown is at the forefront of integrating artificial intelligence into fundraising and donor relations. Ava will engage with approximately 1,000 donors, offering concierge-level service to share university updates. This initiative aligns with the Foundation's commitment to strengthening alumni and donor relationships through cutting edge technology.
