Congresswoman Madeleine Dean Visits Campus
President Cavalier welcomed Congresswoman Madeleine Dean and her team to campus Monday, Aug. 3. The visit offered a great opportunity to engage with a local legislator, while showcasing KU’s work through visits at the Heritage Center, Observatory and faculty-led research in Boehm Science Center.

2026 Move-In Volunteers
New Student Orientation is looking for student and staff volunteers to help unload vehicles and direct students and families during Move-In Day, Thursday, Aug. 20. Several time slots are available between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you would like to participate, or if you oversee a student group that is interested in volunteering, please contact Brett Santos.
