Kutztown Students in London Visit Globe Theater

Eileen Dailey Retirement
After 45 years of service at KU, Eileen Dailey is retiring. As our evening technician, she has been an essential part of the library by keeping things running smoothly and always being there when needed. Her dedication, knowledge and care for our library will be deeply missed. Eileen’s last day will be Friday, Aug. 7. Congratulations, Eileen, on a well-deserved retirement.

Limited Access Behind Risley Hall
UGI is on campus to repair a gas line behind Risley Hall through Friday, Aug. 7. Access between the F1 (Stratton) and F4 (basketball courts) parking lots is limited. Parking will be minimally impacted in the F4 lot along the stadium fence. Please enter and exit F1 from the Normal Avenue entrance. Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

PASSHE Summit Proposals Now Being Accepted
Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) is pleased to announce that the 2026 PASSHE Summit will take place Wednesday, Oct. 28 and Thursday, Oct. 29, at Kutztown University. This year's theme for the PASSHE Summit is "Meeting the Moment Together: Transformation through Resilience, Access and Innovation," which recognizes the many shifts and challenges occurring in higher education and society, and encourages us to reflect on and see the opportunities for transformation and collective action that the changing landscape creates. Registration will open soon, but the Call for Proposals is open. Please consider submitting a proposal by Thursday, Sept. 10.

Gonzalez Adds Another Award, Receives Kutztown Female Athlete of the Year
Erin Gonzalez collected numerous high-end individual accolades following the 2025 field hockey season for Kutztown. The recent graduate added another one to her resume as she was voted the 2025-26 KU Female Athlete of the Year.
