NIOT Princeton: How to Foster Difficult Conversations

Kutztown University partners with Not In Our Town Princeton. KU and Kutztown Area School District representatives have traveled to Princeton several times to attend their Continuing Conversations events. Please join the next Not in Our Town Princeton Continuing Conversation 7 p.m. Monday, July 6, Zoom. Dr. Rosetta Treece, superintendent of the Hopewell Valley Regional School District, will discuss how to foster difficult aspects of our history. Treece will explore how to set ground rules that protect vulnerable people while still allowing non-traditional views, how to distinguish between harmful and uncomfortable ideas and how to discuss concepts in a way that encourages people to explore history themselves rather than making some people feel defensive.
