Call for Proposals: Gender and Sexual Minorities Conference

The ninth annual KU Gender and Sexual Minorities Conference (GSM) is Oct. 1-3, MSU. The conference theme will highlight LGBTQ history - Honoring Our Past, Present and Future. We are now accepting program proposals on Engage. Please submit your program proposal online by Friday, Sept. 5. The GSM keynote speaker is Broadway performer and debut author Chloe Davis. Her book, "The Queen's English," is a dictionary and colorful collection of LGBTQIA+ language with cultural references and usage notes. Davis will present at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 218 MSU. When the schedule is finalized, registration for the conference will open Monday, Sept. 8, on Engage. You can consult the LGBTQ+ Resource Center webpage for a schedule of past programs. UGI Repair Work

Kinsley will be onsite this week to repair the turf and concrete areas disrupted during the recent line repairs. They will begin replacing sod at Keystone and repairing concrete at Dixon. This should not have a significant impact on vehicle or pedestrian traffic around the area. Although, pedestrians may need to use an alternate route from Dixon to the South Dining Hall. Sorry for any inconvenience.
