Lentz Named Director of Credit for Prior Learning

Lori Lentz has been named the Director of Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) within the Office of the Vice Provost. Lentz will lead Kutztown University's efforts to expand and strengthen Credit for Prior Learning opportunities for adult and non-traditional learners. Her work will focus on collaborating with faculty and academic departments to develop CPL pathways, implementing policies and procedures that align with accreditation standards and increasing awareness of how prior learning can help students accelerate degree completion. She will also continue building partnerships across campus to support innovative approaches that recognize learning gained through professional experience, military service, industry certifications, workforce training and other validated experiences.

Sell Named Extended Learning & Workforce Head

Dakota Sell has been appointed Director of Extended Learning and Workforce Development within the Office of the Vice Provost. Sell will lead initiatives that expand access to workforce-aligned education, professional development and lifelong learning opportunities through strategic partnerships, program development and community engagement. She oversees workforce development and non-credit programming, strengthens collaborations with campus and community partners and advances innovative learning opportunities that support students, adult learners, employers and the broader community.

2026 Move-In Volunteers

New Student Orientation is looking for student and staff volunteers to help unload vehicles and direct students and families during Move-In Day, Thursday, Aug. 20. Several time slots are available between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you would like to participate, or if you oversee a student group that is interested in volunteering, please contact Brett Santos.

Golden Bear Lacrosse Named to Academic Honor Squad; Nine Earn Spots on Honor Roll

Kutztown University women's lacrosse received recognition as an Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and nine Golden Bears earned a spot on the honor roll. To be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
