Vets Rising Event will Empower Veteran Entrepreneurship

KU's Military and Veteran Services team is hosting "Vets Rising: Creating an Ecosystem for Veteran Career Growth and Entrepreneurship," 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 250 MSU. This event is an interactive panel of business leaders with experience building and scaling their businesses and creating and expanding networks of businesses, nonprofits and public entities. Lunch from Mission BBQ will be provided, sponsored by First Commonwealth Credit Union.

Student Recreation Center Closed Saturday

The Student Recreation Center will be closed Saturday, Oct. 10, due to the home football game. This closure includes the fitness center, indoor track, basketball courts and locker rooms. Please note that the building itself will remain open for the game and the KU Foundation Tailgate. We appreciate your patience and understanding during the Keystone Hall construction project as we continue to accommodate limited facility space.

Library Fall Break Hours

Rohrbach Library will be open for fall break 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12.

Campuswide Grass Fertilizer and Weed Control Application

Trugreen will be on site to perform the annual fall fertilizer and weed control application to campus grass areas Monday, Oct. 12. If you see the team working, please avoid walking through the grass until it is dry. This typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions. Thank you for your patience.

Sycamore Stage Theatre Company presents "Come From Away." This is a story for everyone. You will laugh and cry, but in the best way. People comment that they couldn't see a show about 9/11. It isn't about 9/11. It's about 9/12 and the power of what happens out of love and care for each other in the face of adversity. This story will change your life for the better. Senior Associate Dean of Student Engagement and Student Assistance

The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to announce the appointment of Maddie Anthes as senior associate dean of Student Engagement and Student Assistance, effective Monday, Oct. 19. Clear Bag Policy for Football Games

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 10, Kutztown University is introducing a Clear Bag Policy for all football games at Andre Reed Stadium. Faculty and staff can continue to reserve their free football tickets online.
