Spring Orientation Welcomes Future Educators
The Office of Clinical Education and Partnerships within the College of Education recently hosted an engaging orientation for our Spring 2026 student teachers, welcoming them into an exciting new phase of their professional journey. Dr. Tracy Driehaus led the session, providing an informative and motivating overview of expectations, resources and best practices for a successful student-teaching experience. Her guidance helped set a positive tone for the semester, ensuring our candidates feel prepared, supported and inspired as they enter their clinical placements. Additionally, Dylan Frendt, student liaison from the Pennsylvania Student Education Association (PSEA), led an interactive, proactive discussion with our student teachers regarding how PSEA can support them and their voice during their professional journey.

Weather
Weather forecasts are provided by KU's Dr. Michael Davis and "Monsoon Mike" Regensburger
Reinforcing, albeit weak, cold air to filter in today. High pressure will keep the skies clear, but a weak sun angle and wind will not provide much solace. Take heart though for after this cold weekend, we get a relative warm up and we get to near freezing by Monday. High temperature near 16.
Announcements
Love is In The Air and On Your Door
It's time to take a break to spread a little office cheer. Student Affairs is hosting a Valentine's Day Door Decorating Contest. The theme is "Love, Campus Style;" interpret this as loosely as you'd like. To register, email stratton@kutztown.edu with the name of the office, the building and room number by Friday, Jan. 30. Send a picture of your decorated door to stratton@kutztown.edu by Friday, Feb. 6. Judging will take place Feb. 9-12 with the winners announced Friday, Feb. 13. Remember, decorations cannot obstruct exits or walkways and door handles must remain visible and operational. We can't wait to see and feel the love across campus. Happy decorating.
