Big Wins at the Pennsylvania Sports Business Conference

A huge congratulations to the Kutztown University Sport Management team – Andrew Batista, Bryan Pensyl and Kevin Schwartz – for earning an impressive second place in the Pennsylvania Sport Business Case Competition. Special recognition goes to Andrew Batista, who was named Most Valuable Presenter (MVP), for his exceptional professionalism and presentation skills. We also celebrate Dr. Jayden Kim, who was honored with the Outstanding Faculty Award, recognizing his dedication and leadership. Well done to all for representing Kutztown University with excellence.

KU Selected to ALL IN 2025 Student Voting Honor Roll

Kutztown University has been recognized by ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge (ALL IN) as a 2025 Student Voting Honor Roll recipient. The ALL IN Most Engaged Campuses for College Student Voting recognizes colleges and universities for outstanding efforts to increase nonpartisan student voter participation.

Dissertation Defense by Katie Monahan

The College of Education announces a dissertation defense by Katie Monahan, "Reducing barriers to entry: enhancing inclusivity and engagement in elementary school extra-curricula programs," 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 245 Beekey. The dissertation chairperson is Dr. Andrew Miness and the dissertation committee members are Dr. Denise Bosler and Dr. Meg Norris.

May Assessment Day

We invite faculty to join us for May Assessment Day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, May 29, 250 McFarland Student Union, to rate student work products from SLO 7 pertaining to FYSM collected in Fall 2024. Volunteers should plan to attend the entire day; the norming process is required to participate in the rating sessions.
