Admissions Hosts First Instant Decision Day of Season
Admissions hosted its first Snack and Submit Instant Decision Day of the year last Thursday, Oct. 2, Hawkinson Welcome Center. Prospective students and their families enjoyed snacks, seminars and campus tours and several were granted instant decisions to attend Kutztown University next fall.

Third Annual 24-Hour Animation Contest
Students from the animated arts program participated in the international 24 Hours Animation Contest. Five teams spent 24 continuous hours, from Friday, Oct. 3 to Saturday, Oct. 4, creating a 30-second animation based on the theme "Flip Your Perspective." The theme was announced by Pixar director Pete Docter and the submissions will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. Winners and rankings will be announced Friday, Oct. 17.

Make Stuff at Creative Royale 2025
Take a break from the pressure of classes and life. Join us 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, Sharadin Atrium, for our third annual Creative Royale. This is an annual art-making extravaganza open to all students. All KU creators are welcome, so bring a friend. There will be refreshments, music, inspiration and stress-free interaction with others. It's the perfect way to get back into the joy of making and spread the message "Stay Alive…Make Art!" Register online.

Kutztown Dining - Grace Ramirez Visit
Please join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a special culinary experience hosted by Kutztown University Dining Services. We are thrilled to welcome Chef Grace Ramirez, a celebrated chef, author and activist, to South Dining Hall, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7. Ramirez’s work bridges culture, community and cuisine; we’re excited to share her story and flavors with you. Burkhardt secures PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week
Steven Burkhardt ran for a career-high 146 yards and two touchdowns as No. 4 Kutztown remained unbeaten with a 49-0 PSAC East victory over Shippensburg, Saturday, Oct. 4, at Andre Reed Stadium. For his efforts, Burkhardt was named this week's PSAC East Offensive Athlete of the Week.
