Announcements
MSU Sidewalk Closed to Vehicle Traffic
The sidewalk behind the MSU, coming from the de Francesco Building, is closed to vehicle traffic for the remainder of the week. Kinsley will be replacing the concrete, which was removed during this summers' UGI upgrades. Pedestrian traffic will be possible, but pedestrians will need to skirt the project through the grass. The steps from the MSU to the library will remain open. The MSU entrance, near the flagpoles, will remain open. ADA access will be the main MSU entrance, where the shuttle stop is located. This closure primarily impacts vehicles, rtvs and other equipment. Sorry about the inconvenience.

Faculty Represent KU at PASSHE Women's Consortium Leadership Institute
Drs. Marlene Nanouh Fares and Yasoda Sharma represented Kutztown University at the PASSHE Women’s Consortium (PWC) Leadership Institute July 27-30 at the Toftrees Resort and Conference Center in State College. Dr. Lorin Basden Arnold's office supported and sponsored the participation of faculty from KU, who are now both serving on the Faculty Resiliency Coalition as PWC facilitators. The Leadership Institute encourages the development of several skills: complex, contemporary, multi-layered and multicultural understanding of leadership; strategies to influence decisions and create change; and networking among diverse constituencies at the university and the System level. The selected faculty are supported as they advance professionally through promotion and/or leadership opportunities at the department, university and System level. KU anticipates hosting the PASSHE Women's Consortium Conference in Feb. 2026.
