Cars at KU - Presented by the KU Car Club

Join the KU Car Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 in the F6 Parking Lot, for Cars at KU. This is a relaxed, come‑and‑go car meet inspired by the classic "Cars and Coffee" vibe. Whether you’re showing off your ride or just love checking out unique builds, this is the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Expect a lively atmosphere with live music, local vendors, prizes and a wide variety of cars and enthusiasts. This is a family‑friendly event, and we’re committed to keeping it safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. No nonsense will be tolerated. Bring your friends, bring your family and, most importantly, bring your passion for cars.

Undergraduate Research Day in Harrisburg

Sport management major Andrew Batista participated in this month's Undergraduate Research Day at the State Capitol in Harrisburg. He shared his research through a poster presentation, "What Makes Corporate Social Responsibility Messages Effective? The Roles of Clarity and Perceived Fit." Batista's advisors are Dr. Soojin Kim and Dr. Jayden Kim.

Military Friendly Schools

Kutztown University has earned the 2026-2027 Military Friendly Schools Designation, recognized as a Gold School. Institutions earning the Military Friendly Schools designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. More than 3,200 companies participated in the Military Friendly survey.

Senior Art Exhibition and Reception

The College of Visual and Performing Arts senior exhibition cycle for visual arts majors starts this weekend. Students graduating with degrees in Studio Art will be featured in an exhibition from Saturday, March 28 through Sunday, April 5 Sharadin's Miller Gallery. An opening reception for students, family, friends and faculty will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 29. Featured artwork includes ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles, photography and printmaking. All gallery events are free and open to the public. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays, 2-4 p.m. Sundays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Dissertation Defense for Casey Gruver

Please join the College of Education 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 125 Beekey, for a public dissertation defense by Casey Gruver, "From Enthusiasm to Exhaustion: Investigating Burnout in New Secondary Teachers." The dissertation chair is Dr. Christopher Weiler and the committee members are Dr. Amber Pabon and Dr. Kim Kneller.

Advocacy and the Social Work Major

In a time when so many people are asking who will speak up, who will step in, and who will help create change, social work offers an answer. Join the Department of Social Work 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, 250 MSU, for conversation, light snacks and refreshments. If you are already considering the major, looking for a career that lets you advocate for those in need while standing up for fairness, and working alongside individuals, families and communities, social work may be the major for you.
