Six Golden Bear Greats Named to 2025 Kutztown University Athletics Hall of Fame Class

Kutztown University announced Friday morning, July 25, that it will induct six former Golden Bear standouts into its 46th annual and 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame class this coming November. Making up the class of 2025 are: Dr. Jeffrey D. Craig Jr. '07 (baseball), Lee Hawley '03 (men's soccer), Laura Kline Senna '07, '13 (track & field/field hockey), Anthony Lee '19 (men's basketball), Mercedes Van Wagner Scheibein '08 (women's basketball) and Emily Zwiercan Gosling '19 (women's soccer). The 2025 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for the evening of Friday, Nov. 14, in the Nancy Jean Stump Seiger '54 Room, 218 McFarland Student Union. Tickets can be purchased online.

Social Equity Policies Training

Pursuant to the university's Anti-Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Misconduct and Amorous Relationships Policies, the Office of Social Equity will offer a Social Equity Policies training session at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, via Zoom. Zoom links will be emailed to participants a day or two prior to the training. Register online. Reminder: all faculty and staff members must take the Social Equity Policies training on a yearly basis. If you cannot recall when you last completed the training, please contact the Office of Social Equity and we will be glad to check our records. If you would like to schedule an in-person training for your department, please send a request by email to socialequity@kutztown.edu or contact the Office of Social Equity at extension 3-4700. Please obtain approval from your supervisor if necessary.
