Become a PROFS Mentor – Make a Lasting Impact
The PROFS Program (Providing Resources and Opportunities for Future Standouts) is seeking faculty and staff mentors for the upcoming academic year. PROFS supports students who have experienced foster care, disrupted childhoods or are currently facing housing insecurity. This resilient and often quiet population thrives when supported by consistent, caring adults. Research and best practices show that mentorship is one of the most effective ways to foster academic success, personal growth and long-term stability for these students. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a mentor, please email daher@kutztown.edu. We will be happy to review the minimum expectations and answer any questions. Your time, support and guidance could make a meaningful difference in the life of a PROFS student.
